Circus Dash

Privacy

This site has no accounts and asks for no e-mail or anything that identifies you. The only public data is the name and country you type yourself when you save a score.

We keep usage statistics with our own system: the pages you open, the buttons you press, how long you stay, where the visit came from (such as a link or campaign), the kind of device and browser, and the results of finished games, linked to a random id in a cookie of this browser. We never record what you type and we store IP addresses only as a hash. This is used to improve the games and the site.

Cookies used: the random player id, language, theme and the site's security cookies. No advertising and no data shared with outside services.

Unfinished games and settings are stored in your own browser; clearing the site data removes them.

The Circus Dash leaderboard: when you save a score, the name you typed, the country you chose, the score and the date are shown publicly. A nickname is fine; do not enter your real name or contact details. If you do not save, the score is shown nowhere.

To keep scores honest we store the inputs of each run (when the jump button went down and up, never what you typed) so the server can replay it, together with a random player id and a hash of the IP address. Moderators can hide unsuitable names; ask the site's operator to hide yours.
